The Dutch Central Bank has approved the proposed appointment of Kees van Kalveen. The Works Council of Triodos Bank has given positive advice regarding the intended appointment.  

Kees van Kalveen will start 1 January 2023 as an advisor to the Executive Board without statutory responsibilities. Immediately after the EGM, he will take over full CFO responsibilities from Willem Horstmann, who now holds the role of Chief Financial and Risk Officer (CFRO) ad interim. Willem Horstmann will remain CRO ad interim as temporary replacement of Carla van der Weerdt, who is recovering from long Covid-19.

After the appointment, the Executive Board will consist of Jeroen Rijpkema (CEO and Chair), Kees van Kalveen (CFO), Willem Horstmann (CRO a.i.), Jacco Minnaar (CCO) and Nico Kronemeijer (COO).

Abridged CV of Kees van Kalveen
Kees van Kalveen has been Chief Financial Officer of Nationale-Nederlanden Bank since 2019. From 2013 to 2019 he worked as Head of Treasury for the same institution. Before that he held various positions with other financial institutions. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Erasmus University of Rotterdam and a post masters Chartered Controller Degree from the same university. 

Kees van Kalveen is of Dutch nationality and does not hold any Triodos Bank depository receipts.
