In these situations, it is essential that you are assured of safety and protection when reporting suspected misconduct, including the option to do so anonymously. That’s why we offer the opportunity to Speak Up.
Who can report?
The opportunity to Speak Up is available to all (potential, current, or former) employees and all other stakeholders who are (currently or previously) directly or indirectly involved with Triodos Bank’s activities.
What can you report?
Speak Up is primarily a tool for reporting incidents related to misconduct and ethics. This may include, but is not limited to, whistleblowing reports.

How can you report?
The Speak Up channel is an external helpline available 24 hours a day, which provides a confidential and independent avenue for your report. You can access the Speak Up portal here: Direct access to Speak Up.
What happens when you report?
- You can report online in writing or make a call to a free number. You can choose the language in which you prefer to communicate.
- If you choose to make a phone call, an external partner will arrange for transcription of the phone call. Your voice will not be heard by anyone working at Triodos Bank. Your transcribed message will be sent to Triodos Bank, in principle, within one working day.
- Any report issued via Speak Up is read by the members of a dedicated Speak Up Panel.
- Triodos Bank strives to respond to your message within one week. The follow up may depend on the content of your message and may include the start of further investigations.
- Speaking up will never be used against you and you can remain anonymous when you report via the Speak Up.
Whistleblowing reports
Whistleblowing specifically concerns the reporting or disclosure of alleged misconduct in relation to the activities of Triodos Bank or its coworkers as defined under regulations and Triodos policy. For more information, see the Whistleblowing policy.
