Head of HR Service Delivery

Profile

How You Will Make a Difference

As Head of HR Service Delivery, you will stand at the core of our HR community, leading a dynamic team that coordinates across multiple countries. Your leadership will be instrumental in advancing digital HR services, optimizing HR data, and enhancing every stage of the Co-Worker Journey. As a key member of the HR Leadership Team (HRLT), you will collaborate closely with the HR Centre of Expertise, HR Business Advisory, and our HR departments in other countries to deliver high-quality, data-driven HR services.

While some activities currently focus on the Netherlands—such as HR Officers and HR systems—your role will evolve with more group-wide impact over time. You’ll oversee critical sub-expertises within your team, including International Payroll, HR Data, HR Administrative tasks, Absence and Employability, and HR Systems.

  • Drive our HR group and NL service delivery portfolio, governance, KPIs, and policies together with the HRLT
  • Establish a robust infrastructure for digital HR services, HR data, and the Employee Journey, ensuring solutions align with operational needs as we grow and evolve
  • Review, standardize, and continuously improve HR service delivery policies and processes for all countries from a group perspective
  • Collaborate with Data & Analytics to deliver complex HR data analyses, uncover key trends, and generate actionable insights to support business performance and employee engagement
  • Specify and manage implementation of HR data requirements to meet organizational needs, including a leading role in coordinating people data for our annual year report and risk reporting
  • Lead transformational projects, such as implementing a new HR system, using structured change management to embed a positive culture and new ways of working
  • Support absence management and employability, helping managers in the Netherlands reduce illness and foster sustainable employability
  • Championing the development and growth of your team, identifying learning needs and providing coaching, training, and opportunities to build capability
What You Will Bring

We value your unique potential and the values you stand for. We’re looking for someone who is self-aware and holistic in their thinking, always mindful of their impact on society, the environment, and the economy.

To thrive in this role, you will:

  • Be a results-oriented and inspiring leader, able to influence and drive positive change
  • Lead with empathy, integrity, and honesty—convincing others by clearly charting the course ahead while challenging and supporting your team
  • Foster a culture of learning agility, empowering others to quickly adapt and grow
  • Build strong connections with colleagues and partners, both internally and externally, thanks to your outstanding communication skills

You will also bring:

  • Leadership experience, with the maturity and confidence to take on group responsibility
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, engaging with the HRLT, local HR teams, Co-Worker Representative Body, Unions, Executive Board, and senior management
  • A proven track record in project management and the ability to oversee and drive multiple initiatives and team activities simultaneously
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment and a commitment to embedding equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) values
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English, written and spoken
Your Future Colleagues

You will report directly to the Group Director of Human Resources and be part of the HR Leadership Team. The HR Service Delivery department is composed of five expert teams, each reporting to you: HR Officers (3), HR Data (2), HR Systems (3), Absence and Employability (1), and International Payroll (2).

If you’re ready to use your skills and vision to create real impact, we’d love to hear from you. Join us and help lead the way in building a more inclusive, sustainable, and human-centered world.
