The minimum standards are our exclusion criteria and set out the absolute minimum standards that we apply to all our loans, investments, current and saving accounts of business clients and suppliers.
In this update, we changed the following:
- Updated our guiding principle on climate change & energy to embed the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions wherever possible
- Clarified our strong commitment against coal related investments by specifying absolute limits to coal production and coal-based energy production
- Updated list of relevant external codes & conventions
