Housing Associations (Social)

Lochalsh and Skye Housing Association was set up in 1983 as an independent, non-profit making housing association to develop, manage and maintain social rented housing within Skye and Lochalsh. Whilst having grown in size and diversified their housing stock they have remained true to their core values: treating everyone fairly, being couteous and open, and constantly striving to improve standards and performance. Their social and affordable housing provision enables people in the North West Highlands of Scotland to live and work in their local communities.

Housing Associations

We finance housing associations because they provide affordable housing for the people who need it most. This includes homes for the homeless and dignified accommodation for adults and children with physical and learning disabilities.
