1625 Independent People
Housing Associations (Social)
1625 Independent People help young homeless people in Bristol and surrounding areas to reboot their lives. Being homeless often leads to low self-esteem, lack of confidence and trauma. Independent People know homelessness is not fixed by putting a roof over someone’s head – it’s about people, relationships, society and situations. The charity provides practical and emotional support so the young people they work with succeed in living independently.
We finance housing associations because they provide affordable housing for the people who need it most. This includes homes for the homeless and dignified accommodation for adults and children with physical and learning disabilities.
