The Team (Tasks)
The Business Analyst (BA) is part of the BA team reporting to the Head of ICT & BA. This team currently consists of nine people taking care of a broad range of activities aimed at aligning ICT solutions with business and customer needs. Our current team activities can be broken down as such:
- Business Analysis

- Change Management
- BI & Report Development
- Service Management
- System Configuration
- Info Sec.
- Continuous Improvement
- Business Continuity
- Authorisation Management
Comprehensive tasks are shared amongst team members where more specialist roles are assigned to individuals. For shared learning and continuity, we apply a slow rotation mechanism in task division.
What will you doThis profile has purposely been written with a broad scope. Partly this reflects the way we work but more importantly it allows us to look at your interests and skills first instead of trying to fulfill a (to) rigid job profile. Depending on the change calendar of the organisation you will be working in one of the domain teams with up to five direct colleagues. The domain team manages changes in different values streams for specific parts of our organisation.
Tasks are divided within a cluster but will depend on your prior experience, skills, level of seniority and enthusiasm. The tasks will surely include: Business analysis through work-shops, interviews & design documentation and change management (independently or within a project governance). You align and accommodate the full change from end-user to supplier and back including priority setting, test (coordination), release management and implementation. To achieve your goals, you need to focus well, balance swift and thorough and have your timing and communication on par.
Our Systems:Most ICT services we get from our colleagues at Head Office. We focus on the apps specific to Investment Management covering a range of functionality from Transactional to CRM, Payments, Valuation, Online, BPM, Interfaces, etc. The team is involved in the full lifecycle of these systems. Several new systems will be implemented in the coming years which progressively moves the team’s purpose towards more integration and steering of third parties.
Our preferred candidate has:
- Strong affinity and personal connection with the values and mission of Triodos IM
- A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree (e.g. IT, Information Management, Business Analytics, IT Management)
- No less than 5 years of experience in the financial domain within the Financial (IM) sector
- Proven skills in process analysis and process design principles
- Good understanding of data structures, reporting, and service processes
- Strong command of English
- Skills to match the core competences of the job profile: o Problem Analysiso Learning Abilityo Communication (oral & written)o Planning and organizingo Customer focus o Result Orientation
