Currently, we’re further professionalising our ways of working by implementing a new organisational model, which will allow us to better support our customers. Within the procurement area it means a need for creating a structured approach toward our suppliers and further integration of activities across the 5 Triodos countries.
For leading our international Procurement team, we would like to bring on board a mature and purpose-driven professional for a permanent contract.
Profile
How will you make a difference?
You will help us to ‘change finance to finance change’, by leading the development of a global procurement strategy and creating proper ecosystem and partner management within your field.
Together with your team:
- you will manage a portfolio of major procurement programs ensuring that suppliers are meeting required levels of service
- you will develop strong relationships and networks across the top structure of Triodos to create mutual trust and support in delivering business strategy and plans
- you will drive talent development and performance management initiatives to ensure that your team members continue to thrive and develop
- you will proactively manage and effect change, ensuring that the team is able to adapt and flex to the changing needs and expectations of internal and external customers

Furthermore, it is desirable that you will have:
- extensive experience in defining purchasing strategies in line with regulatory guidelines (preferably in the financial or IT sector)
- proven experience in leading and inspiring international purchasing teams
- experience in contract management and value delivery through strategic partnerships with external suppliers
- excellent stakeholder and change management skills with a proven track record of proposing and implementing effective solutions
- entrepreneurial mindset and intrinsic motivation to take responsibility for the procurement and sourcing area within our organisation
Who will you work with?
You will be reporting directly to the COO and cooperate closely with corporate procurement managers and co-workers to establish the most effective structure going forward. You will lead a small team of international professionals, with diverse backgrounds and support them during daily work.
