Recently, as part of the transition to a unified "One Bank" operating model, two teams joined forces in the Group Financial and Impact Controlling team. This new structure will allow us to optimise the management reporting cycle from an integrated impact-risk-return perspective. Due to job changes because of the transition, we have an open position for a Financial Controller.
Profile
How you will make a difference
You will support Triodos Bank in realising its mission and strategy by reporting on the financial performance. The (internal) management reports enable management to understand, monitor and steer on their performance.
Next to working on creating timely and powerful standard and ad hoc reports, together with your team and in close collaboration with other departments and the business:
- You will perform analysis on the financial developments and results of Triodos Bank and translate insights into clear reports and actionable recommendations
- You will contribute to the development of annual and longer-term business plans in the budgeting and forecasting cycle lead by Business Control
- You will work on improving data and process maturity and challenge the reporting provided by the business
- You will be working on projects such as optimising the cost-allocation process
- You will work closely with the Impact Controllers on building integrated impact-risk-return analysis and reporting
- You will pro-actively engage with relevant stakeholders and act as a focal point for financial related expertise

Furthermore, it is expected that you will have:
- strong hands-on experience in controlling, financial reporting or similar roles, preferably from financial sector
- highly developed analytical and abstract thinking and reporting skills
- preferably EMFC (RC), CPA (RA) or comparable professional expertise
- proficiency in working with large datasets and skilled in Excel and tools for business analytics
- an ability to lead or play a role in significant financial projects
- a proficient level in English in both speaking and writing (proficiency in Dutch is an advantage)
Your future colleagues
Together with seven other dedicated co-workers you form a multi-disciplinary team, with educational backgrounds varying from Finance and IT to Modelling and Environmental science. Our team language is English. The entire team reports directly to the Head of Financial and Impact Controlling, who in turn reports to the Group Director Controlling. On a daily basis you will be working with various departments and business units across the whole organisation.
