For procurement area this means moving towards uniform and efficient processes and creating single points of responsibility for the group. To make this possible we would like to bring on board a dynamic Procurement Operations Manager to join our Group Procurement team.
Profile
How you will make a difference
You will help us to ‘finance change to change finance’, by playing a crucial role in optimizing the procurement processes through proactive, organized, and detail-oriented management, while fostering collaboration and integrity.
As a part of your daily routine:
- You will oversee the maintenance and continuous updating of the organization's contract database (i.e. register), and ensure all contracts are accurately reflected in the register
- You will identify and report any discrepancies, missing data points, or gaps in the register to the Procurement Committee, and prepare detailed reports for the Procurement Committee, highlighting the status and health of the contract register.
- You will provide insights to contract managers on areas requiring attention, such as expired contracts, pending renewals, or contracts with missing data.
- You will collect performance data from contract managers to report on the performance of suppliers against contractual obligations and KPIs at senior leadership level.
- You will prepare comprehensive risk management reports on supplier performance and operational risks to support decision-making at senior leadership levels.
- You will serve as the Secretary for the Procurement Committee, ensuring meetings are well-organized, minutes are accurately recorded, and actions are followed up in a timely manner. (Supported by management assistant).
- You will track and monitor the implementation of decisions made by the Procurement Committee and ensure accountability across the functional areas.
- You will act as the primary contract manager for service providers who directly support the procurement function.
- You will ensure that all procurement operations-specific contracts are well-managed, including overseeing contract performance, compliance with agreed service levels, and managing any disputes or issues.
- You will act as the project manager for regulatory changes that affect procurement operations, ensuring timely and effective implementation of new regulations and policies, if any.
- You will provide strategic and operational support to the Director of Procurement in developing and refining procurement strategies and initiatives.

Furthermore, it is expected that you will have:
- previous experience in procurement operations, preferably in financial institution
- practical knowledge of DORA, EBA, GOA and other applicable regulations
- practice in working with various stakeholders and ability to build long-term relations at all levels in the organization
- MBA, NEVI, CIPS or comparable certification (as an asset)
Your future colleagues
You will report directly to Group Procurement Director and collaborate closely with Corporate Procurement Managers, including Sourcing Managers and Contract Managers within your team. Additionally, you will engage with Contract Owners, other colleagues, and internal key stakeholders to establish the most effective structure for future endeavours.
