Caja Rural de Ahorra y Credito (Credinka) is active in regions where access to finance is limited and where poverty levels are among the highest in Peru. Credinka offers a range of credit services, debtor cards, payment services and insurance products. The institution is also very successful in stimulating savings. It developed a community savings scheme for remote Indian communities in the Andes and a savings product for women in the Puno-Cusco corridor. Through its agencies and points of sales Credinka is well-positioned to continue its growth. Triodos Microfinance Fund and Triodos Fair Share Fund have provided a loan to Credinka.
