Triodos Microfinance Fund and Triodos Fair Share Fund have provided a loan to Khan Bank in Mongolia. Khan Bank is the one of largest commercial banks in Mongolia with approximately 25% market share, providing banking services to an estimated 70% of Mongolian households. Through its extensive network of more than 500 branches and sub-branches, the bank provides access to finance in even the most remote areas of Mongolia.
Khan Bank provides financial services to the rural poor, while also strategically engaging small and medium enterprises. It’s goal is to maintain its leadership position while also growing its environmental and social programs.
