Colombia has one of the largest economies in Latin America and is the third most populous country in the region. As the Colombian economy and population continue to grow, there is a greater need for financial services in rural areas. Established in 2008, Crezcamos supports rural development in the north of Colombia by offering a range of credit and insurance products to small businesses and entrepreneurs.
The loan from Triodos Fair Share Fund and Triodos Microfinance Fund will enable Crezcamos to increase its presence in the Colombian market and improve rural development through access to credit.
