Arhag Housing Association
Housing Associations (Social)
ARHAG was founded in 1979 to respond to an urgent need for housing and support amongst Britain’s fast growing refugee and migrant communities. In addition to refugees and migrants from Africa, ARHAG now houses people from the Indian sub-continent, Central and Latin America, the Middle East and Asia. Housing stock has grown too and they now own and manage over 850 homes across 13 London boroughs, including one supported housing scheme for young refugees.
We finance housing associations because they provide affordable housing for the people who need it most. This includes homes for the homeless and dignified accommodation for adults and children with physical and learning disabilities.
