Semilla Solidaria, Mexico

Semilla Solidario (SemiSol) stands out in the Mexican microfinance sector because of its diverse credit offering and focus on repayment capacity analysis. The institution is currently active in the southern southern state of Chiapas, one of the poorest states in Mexico, where they operate out of nine branches. Triodos-Doen has provided a local currency loan to SemiSol.

DemirBank, Azerbaijan

DemirBank’s mission as a socially oriented bank is to support entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan. The bank offers a broad range of financial services with a focus on the lower segment of small and medium-sized enterprises. Triodos Fair Share Fund has provided a loan to DemirBank.

First Microfinance Bank, Tajikistan

No other bank or microfinance institution is as active in the eastern, mountainous part of Tajikistan as much as First Microfinance Bank (FMMB). Triodos Fair Share Fund has provided a loan to enable FMMB to generate further growth in its loan portfolio.

IDEPRO, Bolivia

Hivos-Triodos Fund has provided a loan to IDEPRO. This Bolivian NGO provides value chain financing that reaches small producers of e.g. quinoa and Brazil nuts at the bottom of the chain, as these are the ones that have most difficulty getting access to financing. In addition, IDEPRO provides traditional microcredit.

Arvand, Tajikistan

Arvand – which means strong and capable in the Tajik language – is mainly active in northern Tajikistan and has a strong presence in rural areas. In view of Arvand’s strong mission and vision and professional management, Triodos-Doen has provided a loan to enable the institution to generate further growth in the number of clients it serves.

Advans Ghana Savings and Loans Limited, Ghana

Triodos-Doen has provided a loan to Advans Ghana Savings and Loans Limited, which is a young, high potential microfinance institution in Ghana. The institution targets the lower segment of the market, and started its operations in the Great Accra region but is expanding into areas with low outreach.

TYM, Vietnam

Triodos-Doen has provided a local currency loan to TYM, the first licensed microfinance institution in Vietnam. Its growth potential, focus on women’s entrepreneurship and dedicated management makes it a good fit with our portfolio.

COMIXMUL, Honduras

COMIXMUL in Honduras reaches out to rural and urban women entrepreneurs. COMIXMUL’s ambition is to continue to improve its credit operations and expand its product and service offering. The loan provided by Hivos-Triodos Fund and Triodos-Doen will assist COMIXMUL to achieve its ambition.

CACMU, Ecuador

CACMU in Ecuador has a strong focus on the rural poor, agriculture and social housing. CACMU’s strong mission and growth perspective for the coming years has led Triodos-Doen and Hivos-Triodos Fund to provide CACMU with a loan.

SembrarSartawi, Bolivia

SembrarSartawi provides financial services to micro and small agricultural producers in rural areas of Bolivia. The loan from Triodos-Doen and Hivos-Triodos Fund will enable SembrarSartawi to expand its activities further.

Kompanion LLC, Kyrgyzstan

With 80 offices in all oblasts and regions of Kyrgyzstan, Kompanion LLC is the country’s largest financial institution. Triodos Fair Share Fund and Triodos Microfinance Fund have provided a loan to Kompanion LLC.

Belarusian Bank for Small Business, Belarus

Triodos Fair Share Fund and Triodos Microfinance Fund have provided a loan to Belarusian Bank for Small Business. This bank focuses on small and medium-sized enterprises, a niche market in this former Soviet Union country.

Arnur Credit, Kazakhstan

In view of the organisation’s growth potential and strong mission and vision, Triodos-Doen has provided a loan to MKO Arnur Credit LLC (Arnur Credit) in Kazakhstan.  Its 3,000 clients are mainly agricultural entrepreneurs in rural and remote areas.

KixiCrédito, Angola

KixiCredito aims at giving an increasing number of people access to basic financial services. The loan provided by Triodos-Doen will enable KixiCredito to realise this ambition and expand its role as a market leader in the microfinance market in Angola.
