Hurrikan

Sustainable energy (Environment)

Hurrikan is a Wind on Land project in Germany, which has been operational since November 2009. The installed capacity is 39.6 MW. Ampere Equity Fund acquired the three operational wind farms in Germany from affiliates of Hurrikan Power Funding Holding GmbH in Q2 2011. The windfarms are located in the Lübbow area in the municipalities of Schweskau, Tobringen and Lübbow-Bösel. This is a project from Ampère Equity Fund.

Sustainable energy

Energy is a necessity in modern life but the current dependence on fossil fuels to provide it has a high environmental and social impact. We believe that a fundamental transition is needed away from a carbon based economy to a renewable one. By lending and investing in this sector we try to stimulate this transition, with our main focus on financing solar, wind and hydro energy.
