AccessBank, the only microfinance bank in Azerbaijan, offers a broad range of financial products and services, including loans, payment services, savings products, current accounts and point-of-sale terminals. At the end of 2009, the bank had extended loans to 98.000 customers, whom it serves through its national network of 23 branches. In June 2009, the financial Times placed AccessBank in the top three of sustainable banks in the category Emerging Markets in Eastern Europe. The Triodos microfinance funds Triodos-Doen, Triodos Fair Share Fund and Triodos Microfinance Fund have provided loans to AccessBank, so that it can generate further growth in the number of clients it serves.
