The target group of Financiera Nicaragüense de Desarrollo S.A. (Findesa) are microentrepreneurs who have limited access to the financial services. In 2005 the organisation knew a considerable growth; its portfolio and number of loan customers increased by more than 60% while savings more than doubled. With 350 employees spread over 18 branch offices Findesa is active in both rural and urban areas.
