Fondo Financiero Privado FIE (FIE) is a successful Bolivian microfinance institution. In 2006 FIE extended it sbranch network again and is now represented in eight of the nine provinces in the country. At the end of 2006 FIE's network consisted of 47 branches and 41 distributions points, enabling FIE to offer a growing number of clients access to financial services. FIE has entered into a strategic alliance with three smaller microfinance institutions - Pro Mujer, ANED and Crecer. Through this alliance FIE can also offer financial services in rural areas. 

A senior Triodos Bank senior co-worker represents the shareholders Hivos-Triodos Fund, Triodos-Doen and Triodos Fair Share Fund as alternate director on the Board of Directors.
