Mexico - Finca de Mexico

Fundación Integral Comunitaria A.C. (Finca de Mexico) is a non-regulated financial institution and part of the worldwide network of Finca International. Finca de Mexico uses the 'village banking' model, in which women join forces to save together and to take up the responsibility for repaying the received credits. Finca de Mexico finds itself in a very interesting phase of development. The organisation wants to establish a controlled growth in order to be able to concentrate more intensively on the under-served microfinance market in Mexico. With the provision of a long-term loan Triodos-Doen contributes to this process.
