Cataratas do Iguaçu Produtos Orgânicos Ltda. exports certified organic soya produced by approximately 300 small farmers. The small-scale and sustainable production method contrasts sharply with the predominant large-scale production of popular soya which increasingly uses genetically modified varieties. Besides 'whole' soya beans, Cataratas do Iguaçu Produtos Orgânicos Ltda also exports products containing compressed soya beans, for example, soya oil is sold to the Bodyshop.
