Triodos Bank’s research covers a wide range of sustainability criteria including environmental, social, ethical and corporate governance related issues. Our research team pursues high levels of professionalism and transparency and promotes open dialogue on how to strengthen sustainable investment research.
Companies are assessed using in-depth and industry-specific research. In the work process, our analysts use a wide range of public and proprietary information sources and databases, including data from companies, governmental and non-governmental organisations, news services and research institutes. We have a partnership with Sustainalytics, and through them we also work together with the European Corporate Governance Service (ECGS) network.
Several measures have been put in place to preserve quality of information. Our stakeholder panel, an international independent advisory panel of experts, formalises our dialogue with stakeholders. This helps us to ensure that our research methods are relevant, informed and reliable. Our work is also strengthened by partnerships that provide efficient worldwide coverage of major companies and which give us an extensive and precious insight into the work of local markets.
